Dr. Chaesub Lee, Director of the Telecommunications Standardization Bureau, part of the ITU, caught up with Telecom Review TV at the Telecom Review Summit 2017 to share his perspective on digital and smart governance, and the importance of SMART networking. Lee reflected on his panel discussion at the Summit which focused on the role of governments in digital transformation and emerging technologies such as 5G.

Telecom Review TV caught up with Deemah AlYahya, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s National Digitization Unit (NDU), a government arm mandated to accelerate efforts to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, an initiative to diversify the kingdom’s economy away from oil dependence. Ms. AlYahya said Saudi NDU was inspired by Dubai’s vision.
